I am a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA and have appeared in various independent films and worked in commercials and industrials. I won the Dean Goodman Award in San Francisco for playing Carol in Oleanna <\/em>with Bare Bones Theatre Company. After moving to New York I appeared as a Nurse on several occasions on As The World Turns<\/em>, as a battered woman\u00a0 on All My Children<\/em>, as the mother of a child who was raped on L&O:SVU <\/em>(Mrs. Goshgarian) – all not so funny – but I also worked on a webisode for The Onion (definitely funny). I had the opportunity to work with some wonderful student filmmakers from NYU and Columbia, appeared in staged readings at Off-Broadway Theatre companies (Playwrights Horizons<\/a>, Stageplays<\/a>, The Cell<\/a> and Queens Theatre<\/a>), starred as a woman in Jack Karp’s Don’t Write a Bad Play<\/em>, played various roles in Libby Leonard’s Blue Balloon<\/em> – and at the Luna Stage<\/a> in New Jersey I appeared in the world premiere of Thomas H. Diggs’ Fair and Decent<\/em> where the New York Times referred to me as having \u201ca wistful but willful Hope Davis quality (or if you don\u2019t go to indie movies, think of the young Shirley Knight).\u201d I have a B.A. in Theatre from UCLA and have done graduate work at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and studied at Circle in the Square in New York. After moving back to Los Angeles to be closer to family I continue to do some acting online with Undiscovered Works<\/a> (an NYC company I continue to be a part of) and have had the pleasure of continuing with some acting fun studying at HB Studio – with Austin Pendleton, Paul Pryce and Theresa McElwee (all fantastic teachers).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>
